Self pay surgery requiring general anaesthesia
Manchester Royal Eye Hospital has now moved from its old site into its brand new, impressive, state of the art facility adjacent to Manchester Royal Infirmary and the new Manchester Childrens’ Hospital. It also has its own separate dedicated private patients ward. Most major private operations (e.g. surgery requiring general anaesthesia on a day case basis or with a 1-2 night stay in hospital) for self pay patients can be offered at a lower price than that which is charged by other local private hospitals. Typical operations undertaken in the new facility are: cataract surgery, orbital decompression for thyroid eye disease, enucleation and orbital implant surgery for a blind unsightly eye, cosmetic eyelid surgery or brow lift surgery, midface lift surgery, watering eye surgery (external and endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy or DCR), ptosis surgery (droopy eyelid correction), eyelid reconstruction surgery, orbital and eyelid tumour surgery, fat pearl grafting for hollowed eyelids and Coleman fat injection surgery (structural fat grafting). For details contact us at Face & Eye (enquiries@faceandeye.co.uk or telephone 08458 33 22 33) where initial consultations can be offered (except for patients under the age of 18 who can be seen at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital on thursday afternoon/evening)
